🌿 Откуда берутся болезни и что такое здоровье?

I often hear the same question from my patients: “Why is this happening to me?” And each time, I feel that this question is not only about physical pain. It’s about trying to understand oneself more deeply. About searching for support. About the desire to regain a sense of control.

Over the years of my practice, I’ve become increasingly certain: illness is not a mistake, and it is not random. It is the language of the body. And when we learn to listen, many things begin to make sense.

Today, I want to share how I understand health — not as the absence of symptoms, but as a living, multi-layered process.

What is health, really?

Health is not perfect lab results or the absence of pain. It is the body’s ability to adapt, to recover, and to feel safe.

It always exists within the interaction of:

  • the body
  • the mind
  • the environment
  • life experience

When one of these levels loses balance, the body begins to speak.

1. The physical aspect — where everything begins

The body is not just a collection of muscles and bones. It is a system constantly adapting to gravity, movement, and load. In my work, I often see how even a small asymmetry can:

  • change the position of internal organs
  • affect breathing
  • influence emotional states

Microtraumas, old tensions, habitual movement patterns — all of this accumulates and shapes the body. That’s why it’s not enough to simply strengthen or stretch muscles. What truly matters is restoring balance, so the body can move and breathe freely again.

2. The craniosacral aspect — a rhythm we rarely notice

There is a level in the body that cannot be seen, but can be felt. It is the movement of cerebrospinal fluid, subtle rhythms — what in craniosacral therapy we call the “breath of life.”

When this rhythm is free: the nervous system relaxes, a sense of safety emerges, self-regulation processes begin

But when a person lives in chronic stress, this rhythm becomes restricted. And the body gradually loses its capacity for deep restoration.

3. The psycho-emotional aspect — the body remembers everything

Every emotion that has not been fully processed remains in the body.

I often observe how:

  • anxiety settles in the diaphragm
  • fear is held around the kidneys
  • suppressed feelings accumulate in the chest

Over time, this becomes chronic tension.

And then a person says:

“Everything seems fine, but I feel constantly tired.”

In reality, the body is simply carrying too much unprocessed experience.

4. The biodynamic aspect — a deeper level of healing

A human being is more than just physical structure.

There is a deeper level — rhythms, field, inner space.

In biodynamic work, we relate to what is called the “long tide,” an expression of life force.

Sometimes healing does not require doing more.

It requires slowing down and allowing the body to remember its natural rhythm.

Here, presence becomes the main therapeutic tool.

Without pressure. Without trying to fix.

5. Biochemistry and genetics — often underestimated

Sometimes the root of a condition is very concrete:

  • nutrient deficiencies
  • digestive imbalances
  • metabolic dysfunction

It is important to understand that many psycho-emotional symptoms have a biochemical foundation.

Another layer is epigenetics.

Our lifestyle, stress levels, and environment can literally switch genes on or off.

And yes, the body can carry patterns and experiences across generations.

6. Integration — where everything connects

When I work with a person, I never look at just one symptom. Because:

  • physical pain can be linked to emotions
  • emotions can be linked to biochemistry
  • biochemistry is influenced by lifestyle
  • and all of it is connected to the sense of safety

Health is not a fixed state. It is a dynamic balance. There is no single universal solution. But there is always the possibility to begin listening to your body.

A short practice: feeling your inner wave

Try this right now: Sit comfortably. Close your eyes. Bring your attention inside your body.

Notice your breath — without trying to change it. See if you can feel a subtle movement within, like a gentle inner wave. There is nothing you need to do.

Just observe. Sometimes, this is where healing begins.
